Teaching and learning

Educator

Professional teaching across further and higher education, with a focus on practical software development and a security-first approach.

Where I teach

Course details and teaching history for each level.

Qualifications

My teaching is backed by formal qualifications in both education and technology.

Postgraduate Diploma in Cyber Security
Certificate in Education (CertEd)
Bachelor's equivalent Diploma in Information Technology
Diploma in Applied Science (Medical)

T-Level industry placements

I coordinated and supported T-Level industry placements, helping each student complete the mandatory 315+ hours in a relevant workplace. That involved working with employers, monitoring progress and making sure placement outcomes met the qualification requirements.

Teaching approach

I teach the way I would want to learn: practical work first, with enough theory to understand why a decision is right.

Project-based tasks that mirror real development work
Inclusive teaching and differentiated support for mixed ability groups
Clear assessment criteria and useful feedback
Employer engagement and work-based learning

Current study

I am currently studying for Semicha, deepening my pastoral and community work alongside my technical and teaching practice.
